http://www.bestwestern.com/prop_70105 Best Western Playa Inn

Your best bet for RV accomodations (camping allowed in RV spots) would be Playa de Oro, Playa Mirador, Playa Bonita (not close), or Playa Elegante.
Playa de Oro-- 011-52-638-383-2668
Playa Mirador--- 011-52-638-383-2587
Playa Bonita-- 011-52-638-383-1400
Playa Elegante-- 011-53-638-383-3712

Hotels nearest race site:
Best Western Playa Inn
Fiesta de Cortez

Better hotels:
Plaza Las Glorias
Playa Bonita
(Best Western isn't bad though, just not on the beach)

Best Condos:
Las Gaviotas
Marina Pinnacate
Las Olas I and II (Los Conchas)

Best places to eat:
Beto's in Old Port
La Curva

Be advised that Rocky Point has newly enacted ATV and golf cart restrictions on some roads. These can change at any time.
Also, when considering properties, Las Conchas does not allow renters to bring in any ATV's or Jetskis. Hobie Cats appear to be OK (hide standup under Hobie).
Other properties (Las Gaviotas, Marina Pinicate), may have you park trailers just outside. There is 24hr security at property entrances though.
Mini-storages are available and RV spaces are plentiful and cheap enough that you could use one to store your trailer and use as an engine flush area.
You guys will like the small no-hassle border in Lukeville compared to the one near Tijuana. Be sure to shop duty-free at Ueta just to the right of the border entrance before you cross.
